 Acid / Gastric Reflux - The tablet is also used to treat acid or gastric reflux. This disease disturbs stomach, irritates food pipe and as a result, it creates acid. Your stomach is a ring of muscles called LES (lower esophageal sphincter). When LES doesn’t work properly it produces acid and causes symptoms like heartburn, chest burn pain. If the symptoms persist for more than two weeks, it is a sign of acid or gastric reflux disease. 

 Helicobacter (H.) Pylori Infection – It is a type of common bacteria that grows in the digestive system of a human body. This infects the stomach and makes it disturbing. Though H. pylori infections are not much harmful but then it is responsible for creating ulcers in the stomach and small intestine. Neksium tablets are used in combination with other medicines to treat this infection.

•    Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome – Neksium 40mg pills are also used to treat access acid of the stomach. Zollinger Ellison Syndrome is a condition that causes overproduction of gastric acid and results in peptic ulcer.

How to take Neksium?

Take Neksium tablet with a glass of water one hour before a meal. Take the drug as recommended by your doctor and complete the course to avoid severe health issues. In case you miss the dose, take it as soon as you remember. You can skip the missed dose if you forget it around the next dose time. You should not receive double the treatment to compensate for the missed dose.

Where should Neksium be stored?

Keep the Neksium 40mg  in its original packaging and store it at an average room temperature level.
