Opsutan 10 MG
Opsutan is a prescription drug used for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension or PAH. The medicine is given to treat high pressure in the blood vessels that transfer blood from the heart to the lungs. Its regular intake tightens the blood vessels and allows blood to flow normally in patients who have pulmonary hypertension. The medicine helps improve the overall quality of life by increasing exercise ability and delay disease progression. Disease progression includes death or clinical worsening of PAH. Opsutan 10 mg tablets also reduce the risk of hospitalization.
What is the mode of action?
Opsutan 10mg works by blocking the activity of a certain substance that causes narrowing of blood vessels in the body. The process of narrowing increases the pressure in the blood vessels of the lungs. Opsutan is helpful in relaxing these blood vessels and increases the blood supply to the lungs.
How to take it?

Your health care specialist may perform routine blood tests to check for anemia and to ensure proper liver function. Let your healthcare professional know if you find any changes in your weight, especially if you gain weight.
If a user misses a dose, he/she should be told to take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time to take the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your normal dosing schedule. Patients are instructed not to take two doses to make up for the missed one.
