  • Concurrent use with radiation therapy or antineoplastics may cause hematologic reactions.
  • Potassium-sparing diuretics along with Indo Cap may lead to hyperkalemia.
  • Avoid concurrent use with lithium and zidovudine.
  • Patients already taking methotrexate and probenecid should avoid the intake of Indo cap.

When should Indo Cap not be used?

  • Indo Cap 25 mg is not formulated for patients with known alcohol intolerance.
  • Do not take it if you are suffering from active gastrointestinal bleeding, thrombocytopenia, ulcer disease, intraventricular hemorrhage, and proctitis or recent history of rectal bleeding.
  • It should not be administered to pediatric patients as it may cause necrotizing enterocolitis, and bowel perforation in premature neonates who are suffering from the PDA.
  • The medicine is not suitable for patients who have hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the preparation.
  • It is not meant for use during the second half of pregnancy.

However, if it is time for the next dose, please skip the missed dose and go back to your normal dosing schedule. Do not take two doses to compensate the missed one unless otherwise directed.
