Caverta is an effective treatment for men with erectile function. It has Sildenafil citrate, an inhibitor of phosphodiesterase type % (PDE5), which is approved for first-line treatment of sexual dysfunction in adults. It is extremely effective for those men who wish to enhance their sexual performance. Patients are required to take this oral medication as prescribed. Sildenafil is known to prevent the action of a certain chemical in the body, which helps to widen blood vessels and improves blood circulation to the penile muscles. Children should not take this medicine without the consent of a doctor. Usage Instructions

Caverta 25 mg is available as a pill for oral administration. If you are using it to treat your sexual dysfunction, follow your urologist’s instructions and the guidelines given by him. One needs to take the pill before sexual activity. The best time to take the pill is about an hour before intercourse. Do not take more than one pill a day. If you are suffering from any other medical condition or taking other medication, then you may be asked to take this ED drug less often. Generally, you may take the pill without regards to food, but make sure you do not take the pill just after having a high-fat meal as the effects of the drug may delay and it will take longer for the medication to begin to work. Let your urologist know if the medicine is not working well or if you experience any wanted effects.

Precautions

Before taking Caverta 25 mg, tell your doctor if you are allergic to Sildenafil citrate or any other pharmaceutical ingredient containing Sildenafil. Do not take medicine if you are taking nitrate medication for chest pain. Let your doctor know about all the prescription and non-prescription medicines, including vitamins and nutritional supplements you are using. Be sure to mention doxazosin, tamsulosin, amlodipine, alfuzosin, prazosin, itraconazole, and certain barbiturates. Tell your urologist if you smoke, or if you have ever had an erection that lasts for several hours. Also let your doctor know if you have certain medical conditions such as heart disease, liver disorder, high cholesterol, bleeding disorder, sickle cell anaemia, high cholesterol and blood circulation problems. Inform your doctor if you are undergoing dental surgery.

Side Effects of Caverta 25 mg

Like any other medicine, Caverta 25 mg may cause side effects. The ED drug is associated with mild to moderately severe side effects. These include nosebleeds, flushing, heartburn, headache, sensitivity to light, muscle aches, changes in color vision, difficulty falling asleep, dairrhea. Some serious side effects of the medicine include ringing in ears, fainting, rash, blurred vision, fainting, chest pain, burning sensation during urination, or sudden severe loss of vision. Call your urologist if you develop unusual problems associated with the use of medicine. Some patients may experience a sudden loss of hearing after taking Caverta pills or other Sildenafil formulations. The hearing loss did not always improve on treatment discontinuation. It is still not known whether the hearing loss is caused using this ED medication. Call your doctor straight away if you develop sudden loss of hearing accompanied by ringing in the ears or dizziness. Avoid using other erectile dysfunction drugs during the treatment.
