Acnelak CLZ cream is formulated to counter acne and other related skin problems caused by fungus, bacteria, and microorganism. It is a cream formulation combining Zinc acetate 1% and Clindamycin 1% for treating mild to moderate acne and pimples.

Clindamycin fits under the class of lincomycin antibiotics, which prevent the formation of acne and scars, but not helpful for those scars that previously there on the face. The other active component Zinc acetate is a natural mineral in the body, which plays a role in wound healing, cell division, cell growth, and the breakdown of carbohydrates.

Acnelak CL Z is a combination of drugs, namely Clindamycin 1% and Zinc acetate. It is indicated for the topical application in the treatment of acne.

How does Acnelak Cream work?

Acnelak cream comprises of two active ingredients Clindamycin and Zinc acetate.Clindamycin in the topical medicine prevents the formation of acne and scars leaving pimple free and oil free skin.

Another active pharmaceutical ingredient is Zinc acetate, the most effective agent for inflammatory acne characterized by bacterial involvement. Zinc acetate works against Propionibacterium acnes, a bacteria that contribute to the development of acne. It inhibits inflammation caused by bacteria and is much more effective against inflammatory acne than non-inflammatory acne.

What does Acnelak CL Zcontain?

Acnelak CL Z contains two active ingredients Clindamycin and Zinc acetate. Each 15g tube contains 1% of Clindamycin and 1% of Zinc acetate.

What are the side effects of Acnelak Cream?

• Do not apply the cream near your eyes, lips, and nose. Also, avoid contact with mucous membranes.

How should Acnelak CL Zbe used?

You should use Acnelak CL Z twice daily. Clean affected part of your skin and then pat dry with a clean towel. Take a small amount of cream on your fingertips and put a thin film on the affected area and massage it gently. It is a topical medication, use it on your skin only. Do not get into contact with your eyes, nose, and mouth. Wash your hands before and after applying.

 Missed dose of Acnelak CL Z?

If you miss a dose, apply Acnelak CL Z as soon as you remember or if it is close to the next scheduled dose, please wait until that dose. Do not apply in an extra amount to make up for the missed dose. The cream has a little risk of an accidental overdose. However, if you notice any reactions after applying the medication, immediately contact your physician.

How should Acnelak CLZ be stored?

Acnelak CL Z should be stored in a cool, dry location, away from light, and moisture. Do not refrigerate or freeze Acnelak CL Z cream. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
