Dabigo 110mg capsule is a prescription medicine for treating patients with atrial fibrillation (irregular heart rhythm). This medication contains the active ingredient Dabigatran Etexilate, a class of anticoagulants or blood thinners. It is used in adults to treat the following conditions:

  • Prevent blood clots in the veins post-knee or hip replacement surgery.
  • Prevent blood clots in the brain and the heart if you are suffering from a type of irregular heart rhythm.
  • Treat blood clots in the veins of your lungs and legs, and prevent their recurrence.
  • Reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke or thrombosis.

Taking Dabigo 110mg capsules for the prescribed period helps prevent health complications from blood clots. However, it doesn’t dissolve blood clots; it prevents them from getting bigger in the body, enabling them to dissolve over time and preventing new ones from forming.

The dabigatran etexilate capsule dosage and treatment duration vary from patient to patient based on the severity of the condition. Following the prescribed dosage schedule helps achieve the desired results.
