 DOX T-SL(Doxycycline Lactobacillus)

DOX T-SL is the generic version of the combination of Doxycycline and Lactobacillus. It is specially formulated to treat bacterial infection and diarrhea. The medicine is prescribed to treat infections like pneumonia, infection of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, genitals, and eye infection. The drug is also active against skin diseases, acne, Lyme disease, gum disease, and malaria. Your physician may also prescribe this combination drug to treat sexually transmitted disease such as syphilis, gonorrhoea, and Chlamydia. A bacterial disease of the chest, nose, lungs, bladder, and kidneys can also be treated with this medication. The medicine is available in the form of capsules for oral administration.

Possible Drug Interaction

Some medicines can interact with the combination drug DOX T-SL. These include antacids and supplements that contain magnesium, iron, sodium bicarbonate, calcium. If you take products containing any of these minerals within two hours of taking DOX T-SL, these could decrease the effectiveness of this combination drug which is used to treat bacterial infection.
