Empamore 10m mg is one of the popular and effective medicines to manage type 2 diabetes. It is a generic name of the popular diabetes drug brand Jardiance, which is also prescribed to patients with cardiovascular problems with type 2 diabetes. Empagliflozin is the main active component present in both medicine.
Remember that Empagliflozin is not recommended to those who are insulin-dependent type 1 diabetic patients. They should take insulin injections under medical prescription. Approved by the FDA, Empagliflozin belongs to a class of drugs called SGLT2 inhibitors (sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 inhibitors). Empamore tablets are available in two dose strengths – 10mg and 25mg. Its 10mg dose is recommended in the majority of type 2 diabetes cases.
