Flurisone 0.1% 5 ml is an eye drop indicated for the treatment of pain, swelling and redness of the eye. The active ingredient of the medicine is Fluorometholone, which works by stopping the inflammation caused by certain eye irritations. Fluorometholone is a steroid which reduces itching, swelling, and soreness after eye surgery or eye injuries.
Warning and precautions with Flurisone Eye Drop
Do not use Flurisone eye drops if you are suffering from any viral infection of the eye or tuberculosis of the eye. Fungal or bacterial infections, or any other infection that is not being treated. Also, the use of Fluormetholone is contraindicated if you have intraocular pressure (elevated pressure within the eye or have been diagnosed with a condition called glaucoma. Usage instructions of Flurisone Eye Drop
