Foligraf 150 IU (Recombinant human)

Foligraf injection is a medicine formulated for patients with indications like polycystic ovary syndrome, infertility in the female, etc. It contains the active pharmaceutical ingredient called Urofollitropin, which is a purified form of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). The dosage of medicine is adjusted according to each individual’s response. It starts the growth of ovarian follicles.

Contraindications

The use of Foligraf is contraindicated in the following conditions:

• Hypersensitivity to Foligraf or other components of the formulation
• Tumors of the pituitary gland and hypothalamus gland.
• Gynecological haemorrhage
• Ovarian enlargement
• Carcinoma of uterine, mammary gland o, and ovary.
• Pregnancy
• Lactation

Medication interaction:

Like other drugs, it is possible that Foligraf can affect the working of other drugs and other drugs can affect the mechanism of action of Foligraf. Such drugs are given below:

• Gonadorelin
• Clomiphene

Usage instructions
