Glynase XL 10mg contains active ingredient Glipizide. This medication is an oral Anti-diabetic drug used to keep in check levels of blood sugar in type-2 diabetes mellitus and chemically synthesized for slow sustained release into the blood.

Glynase XL 10mg is an oral medication for diabetes used to regulate blood sugar levels in patients with mild to moderate type-2 diabetes mellitus (also called non insulin-dependent diabetes or maturity onset diabetes) who are not able to reach appropriate glycaemic control (normal blood sugar levels) along with dieting and exercise. Glynase XL 10mg can be prescribed solely or in combination with diet and exercise, or in conjugation with other antihyperglycaemic drugs (lowers blood sugar), like metformin.
