Jalra M 50+500 mg
Jalra 50+500 mg is an oral anti-diabetic medicine containing two medicines, metformin and Vildagliptin, used to manage type 2 diabetes in adult patients whose diabetes can’t be controlled by diet and exercise alone or with other medications used to manage diabetes. It works best with a poor healthy diet and exercise program to control high blood sugar in people with Type 2 diabetes. Achieving high blood sugar levels helps prevent kidney damage, nerve problems, loss of limbs, and blindness.
Vildagliptin increases insulin release from the pancreas and decreases the hormones that increase blood glucose levels, thereby reducing fasting and post-meal sugar levels. Metformin reduces hepatic glucose production, reduces intestinal absorption of glucose, and improves insulin sensitivity by increasing glucose uptake and utilization. The combination is thus better effective in lowering blood sugar levels.
