Loparin 60mg/0.6 ml
Loparin 60/0.6 ml is an injectable drug used as a blood thinner to prevent the formation of clots. It is usually injected under the supervision of a health care specialist in his/her clinic only. The injection can also be prescribed to use after a stomach, hip, or knee surgery when it is difficult to move around. It comprises of the active ingredient Enoxaparin Sodium which is categorized under the drug class anti-coagulants. Lovenox is a generic or equivalent to Enoxaparin. These medications block the activity of clotting proteins in the blood thereby preventing the blood clot. If you already have a blood clot, it will prevent from becoming worse. Be sure to use it under the supervision of a health care specialist. Your health care provider will suggest the best dose according to your condition.
Clinical Uses Of Loparin
Loparin is used as an injection to treat and prevent harmful clots. Enoxaparin sodium is the active ingredient, which reduces the risk of stroke or heart attack by keeping the flow of blood smooth, lowering the activity of clotting proteins in the bloodstream. This anticoagulant formulation can also be used in combination with warfarin (a blood thinner) to treat certain blood clotting disorders. You are more prone to a blood clot if you have undergone a hip/knee or abdominal surgery. Loparin is equally effective for such people.
Usage Instructions
Loparin is available in the solution form which is injected into the body. The dosage depends on your condition you are suffering from along with other factors such as age, and general health condition. Make sure you do not stop the treatment without discussing with your health care provider as this would increase the risk of developing a blood clot.
Furthermore, an overdose may cause black stools, nosebleeds, coughing up blood, abdominal pain, and bleeding gums. Be sure to use it as prescribed by the health care specialist and is best to get it injected in a health care specialist’s clinic only.
