Onbrez 150 mcg contains the active ingredient Indacaterol, which belongs to a class of medications called bronchodilators. When you inhale this medication, it causes relaxation of muscles in the walls of the small air passages in the lungs. This helps to open up the airways, making breathing easier. Indacaterol makes breathing easier for adult patients with breathing problems due to a lung disorder called chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). In COPD, the muscles around the airways tighten. This brings breathing issues. Onbrez provides relief by relaxing these lung muscles, making breathing easier.
Precautions Onbrez 150 mcg
Do not use Onbrez if you are allergic to Indacaterol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. Talk to your health care provider if you have asthma, heart problems, epilepsy, thyroid gland problems, diabetes, or are pregnant and breastfeeding. After using the medicine, discontinue treatment and seek immediate medical help if you cough, have breathlessness, or experience chest tightness. Also, let your healthcare provider know if your COPD symptoms, such as wheezing, cough, and breathlessness, do not improve or worsen.
The medication should not be given to children or adolescents below the age of 18 years. Certain medications may interact with Indacaterol and affect its working. Such medications include medicines for breathing problems, beta blockers for high blood pressure or other heart problems, or medicines that lower the amount of potassium in your bloodstream.

Common side effects of Onbrez 150mg include sore throat, muscle spasms, headache, runny nose, inflammation of the sinuses, itching, chest pain, muscle pain, bones or joints, palpitations, and dizziness.
Uncommon side effects of the medication include muscle pain, tingling or numbness, and fast heart rate. Some people occasionally cough just after inhaling the medication. Cough is commonly reported in patients with COPD. If you begin to cough briefly after inhaling the medicine, do not worry. Check the inhaler to see if you have received the full dose. If the capsule is empty, there is no need for concern. If the capsule is not empty, then inhale as advised.

How to use 150mcg
The usual dose is to inhale the powder of one capsule each day. You may be advised to use this medication depending on your condition and your response to the treatment. The effects of the medication last for 24 hours. This ensures that there is always enough medicine to help you breathe easily throughout the day and night.
