Pregnyl 1500 i.u.
Pregnyl 1500 IU HCG
Pregnyl 1500 IU belongs to a group of medicines called gonadotrophins (sex hormones). It is a preparation of human chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG) obtained from the urine of pregnant women. This drug can control the release of eggs from the ovary in women as well as the production of the male hormone (testosterone). It has luteinizing hormone (LH) activity and helps to produce eggs in medically assisted fertility or reproduction programs i.e. IVF treatment. The effects of Pregnyl remain active in the body up to 24-40 hours after its application. Pregnyl is available in the forms of injection and white dry powder.
Benefits of Pregnyl 1500 IU:
Pregnyl can stimulate steroid genesis in the gonads and its biologic effects are similar to that of LH (luteinising hormone). It promotes the production of testosterone in the male and increases the production of estrogens and particularly of progesterone after ovulation in the female. Pregnyl 15000 IU is basically prescribed in the cases of male infertility, female fertility, Cryptorchidism, hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, and induction of ovulation.
What Pregnyl contains:

The other ingredients of this medicine include carmellose sodium, sodium dihydrogen phosphate (anhydrous), mannitol (E421), monobasic sodium phosphate, dihydrate, mannitol, and disodium phosphate (anhydrous). The solvent also has sodium chloride (9 mg) and water for injections.
Use of Pregnyl 1500 IU:
The primary ingredient of Pregnyl 1500 IU injection is HCG which is extracted from the placental cells or from the urine of the pregnant women. This medicine is sufficiently used to treat infertility in both men and women. It's also administered to diagnose the delayed puberty issues in children. Pregnyl is effective to cause women to ovulate and it can be taken with other fertility medicines. In some specific cases, Pregnyl is given in combination with a follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) or HMG (Human Menopausal Gonadotrophins) containing preparation. This medicine has no influence on alertness and concentration.

This medicine is available as a solution for injection that has to be administered by a physician into the vein or muscle.
