Rozavel 40 mg tablets contain the active ingredient Rosuvastatin, which belongs to a group of drugs known as HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors (also called as 'statins'). Rosuvastatin is used along with diet changes, exercise, and weight loss to combat the chances of a heart attack and other heart problems. It efficiently lowers the bad cholesterol and fats like LDL and triglycerides. The drug also raises the levels of good cholesterol in the blood.

Rozavel 40 mg is used primarily for the treatment of dyslipidemia. Rozavel 40 mg should not be given in:

  • Patients with known hypersensitivity to Rozaveltatin or to any of its components
  • Patients with active liver disease
  • Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant
  • Nursing mothers

How should Roza gel be used?

The gel should be applied twice daily, in the morning and evening. Wash the affected area and pat it dry before applying the cream. Release the topical preparation in pea size and apply a thin film on the affected area. Massage the gel gently until it gets completely absorbed by the skin. Make sure that you wash your hands before and after the application of the medication.

You’ll notice considerable improvement in your symptoms within 3 to 4 months of the treatment. Continue to use it. Do not start or stop using the drug without talking to your doctor.

What are the side effects of Rozavel 40 mg?

The most frequent reactions to Rozavel 40 mg include: muscular pain, weakness, headache, abdominal pain, and nausea, etc.
