Sodium Chloride Injection I.P. 10 ml is specifically designed for parental use only after adding drugs that require dilution or must be dissolved in water. It is used to restore and maintain salt and extracellular fluid levels or as a vehicle for parenteral drugs.   

How to use

Your doctor will administer the injection; do not self-administer.

Precautions

Let your doctor know if you are allergic to any of the components in sodium or chloride injection. Your doctor should also be aware of your pregnancy status or if you are breastfeeding. Pre-existing conditions (kidney disorders, liver conditions) and the use of medications should also be informed. Caution is advised if you are taking corticosteroids. Side effects

Sometimes, Sodium chloride 10 ml may cause injection site reactions such as swelling, tenderness, irritation, and redness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually. However, you are advised to speak to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
