Temoside 100mg medication is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with newly diagnosed brain tumour, multiform, concomitantly with irradiation. Temozolomide is the main active ingredient in Temoside 100mg. It is an oral therapeutic drug. It's an alkylating agent used as a treatment for brain cancers; as a second-line treatment for astrocytoma, and a first-line treatment for brain tumour multiform.
Working mechanism of the drug:
Temozolomide, an alkylating agent, works by preventing cancer cells from making new DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid). It's the genetic material of a cell. If cancer cells cannot build deoxyribonucleic acid, they can't split into two new cells, so cancer cannot grow.
Temoside 100 mg should not be used if the patient is allergic to the drug's active ingredient. To avoid drug interactions, your doctor should know about any medicines and supplements you may be taking for your existing health problems. Some medicines that can interact with Temozolomide include bumetanide, furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide, gentamicin, tobramycin, amphotericin B, ibuprofen, tacrolimus, or vancomycin.
