Tiova rotacaps 18mcg is formulated for the treatment of chronic pulmonary obstructive disease. It does not come under the fast acting category of drugs and should not be used for asthma attacks. The active ingredient of the medicine is Tiotropium Bromide, which belongs to a class of drugs known as long acting anticholinergic bronchodilator. The beneficial component of the medicine is useful in preventing bronchospasm in patients with COPD. It is supplied in the form of capsules to use via an inhalation device.
