Trofame XR 60 mg is an extended-release tablet used to treat adults with an overactive bladder who are suffering from the following symptoms:
- An urge to urinate right away,
- A need to urinate often,
- Leaking or wetting accidents due to a strong urge to urinate right away.

Precautions of Trofame XR 60mg
Trofame XR 60 mg is contraindicated in patients with gastric retention, urinary retention, or uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma and in patients who are at risk of these conditions. It should also be avoided in case of known hypersensitivity to Trospium chloride. The medicine has not been studied in children under the age of 18 years. Tell your doctor before taking Trofame extended-release tablet if you have intestinal problems, kidney problems, liver issues, and narrow-angle glaucoma. Your doctor should also be aware if you have trouble emptying the bladder, have a weak urine stream, are pregnant, or are breastfeeding. Tell your doctor about all your medicines, including prescription and non-prescription drugs, vitamins, and herbal solutions. Trospium can affect how the body handles other medicines.
Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how Trisodium affects you. Alcohol consumption can further worsen the drowsiness caused by medicines such as Trofame XR. Due to the decrease in the sweating caused by the medicine, heat prostration may occur when this medicine is used in the environment.
Side effects of Trofame XR 60mg
Trofame XR 60 mg can contribute to serious allergic reactions that may be serious. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction may include lips, throat, and tongue swelling. If you develop these symptoms, you should discontinue treatment and get immediate medical help. The most commonly reported side effects include headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
