Finpecia 1mg (Finasteride)

Finpecia 1mg tablets contain Finasteride, a synthetic 4-azasteroid compound that belongs to a group of drugs called 5-alpha reductase inhibitors. Finpecia is a prescription medicine to treat androgenic alopecia or male pattern hair loss by increasing hair growth and preventing further hair loss in men, including receding hairline and balding at the top and front of the head. The safety and efficacy have been demonstrated in men aged 18 to 41. Male pattern hair loss results from androgen hormonal imbalance in males' bodies. Mainly, the hairline and the crown area are affected by this. Finasteride delays further hair loss and increases hair density in the vertex and anterior mid-scalp areas in males displaying early signs of androgenetic alopecia.

Finasteride, a specific inhibitor of type II 5 α reductase, an intracellular enzyme, works by preventing the conversion of testosterone into more potent androgen Dihydrotestosterone.

How to use:

The dosage should be taken as prescribed. In general, doctors usually recommend Finpecia 1 mg tablet daily. This tablet can be taken with or without food. Try to take the medicine at the same time each day to avoid missing the dose.

Male pattern hair loss is a condition that develops over a long period. It takes time for new hair to grow, so you will not see immediate results taking Finpecia. In general, daily intake for at least three months is necessary for increased hair growth or prevention of further hair loss is noticeable. Continued use is suggested for maximum benefit. Effects may be reversed within twelve months after withdrawal of treatment. Continue taking Finpecia 1 mg tablets as long as your doctor prescribes it.

If you have forgotten a dose, take it as soon as you remember and return to your usual dosing schedule. If the time to take the next dose is near, leave the forgotten dose and take the next dose. Do not double the dose to compensate for the forgotten one.

Precautions and Warnings
