The combination drug is used twice daily in the long term to control asthma symptoms and prevent wheezing in children (4 years and older and adults).
How to use Seretide Diskus 100/50 mcg
Do not Seretide Diskus 100/50 mcg unless your doctor has prescribed you how to use the inhaler and you understand how to use it correctly. Use it exactly as your doctor has instructed you. The effect of this medicine may be noticeable after a few days but will only reach its maximum effects after a few weeks of regular usage. For best results, these medicines must be used regularly, so continue to take them even if you do not have any symptoms. Unless your doctor advises, it should not be used with your first asthma medicine. It is only used when a regular inhaled corticosteroid medicine and a fast-acting reliever medicine such as salbutamol are not adequately helping to ease your breathing problems.
